Anne Palermo has been a professional grant writer and fundraiser for over 13 years and has directly contributed to the awarding of more than $15 million for nonprofit organizations in the United States and Europe.
Her ability to raise support from foundations, corporations, individuals, and government entities has helped two development teams to break institutional records for the most funding raised in one year.
Anne's proposals have garnered support from the National Endowment for the Arts, National Endowment for the Humanities, HSBC, Andy Warhol Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, Time Warner, and the David Rockefeller Fund, among many others. She specializes in arts and culture and higher education.
Skilled in all areas of advancement, Anne has organized events in New York, Los Angeles, Park City, Southampton, and Budapest; worked with board members on fundraising strategies; organized Raisers Edge databases; and created and written both print and online brochures, programs, magazines, and newsletters.
Previously, she held senior development roles at New York University Tisch School of the Arts in New York and Central European University in Budapest. She holds a master's degree in public administration from New York University, and she currently resides in Austin, Texas.
